I am Samuel Par, although my mother knows me better as Patrick Sounigo! I came into the world of cosmetology almost by accident. As a cash strapped medical student in Paris, I financed my studies for six years by working in a number of different cosmetic houses and it was during my time with the Cosbionay Laboratory, who had the world's leading aromatherapist Dr. Jean Valnet as their consultant, that I realized I had found my vocation. I felt that I could be of more use to the world researching the application of aromatherapy and phytotherapy to skincare problems than by following the traditional path of entering medical practice.
